Client: Frölunda Library
Sweden
In April 2025, the newly renovated Frölunda Library reopened its doors, unveiling a transformed space designed to inspire curiosity, knowledge, and imagination. As a central hub within Frölunda Kulturhus, the library serves a diverse community, necessitating a wayfinding system that is both intuitive and inclusive.
Design that guides and inspires:
A clear and well-developed design concept for their new signage system. One that aligned with their vision for a more accessible and welcoming library. Our role was to bring that vision to life through expert production, planning, and installation.
Collaborative success:
The project was carried out in close cooperation with the City of Gothenburg’s cultural department. From the start, there was a shared commitment to quality, clarity, and accessibility.Throughout the project, we worked responsively and flexibly to ensure all elements were delivered on time and according to expectations, down to the finest details.
A space that speaks to all:
The new wayfinding system does more than direct—it enhances the visitor experience, making the library more navigable and welcoming. By thoughtfully integrating design and functionality, the signage contributes to the library’s mission of being an accessible and engaging space for all.

We have had a very successful collaboration with Nonbye. They have delivered very fine signs to the newly renovated Frölunda Library. The result exceeded expectations – both aesthetically and functionally. Nonbye has shown high professionalism throughout the process, met all deadlines, and been very responsive to our wishes. The installers did an excellent job on-site, were flexible, and handled even small extra details with great commitment.

It’s always inspiring to work with a client who brings a clear vision and to be able to meet that vision in the best possible way. The result reflects exactly what was intended – from design
