Client: EuroSkills 2025
Denmark
In September 2025, Messecenter Herning hosted Europe’s largest skills competition. Thousands of young talents, teachers, and visitors came together to celebrate skills, craftsmanship, and ambition.
Creating the right setting for an event of this scale took more than signs. It meant building an atmosphere that inspired, motivated, and helped people navigate in a huge and busy exhibition center. That was the role we played at Nonbye.
Bringing identity to life:
Inside MCH Arena, we transformed the venue into a place that reflected the EuroSkills spirit. We installed more than 750 unique elements, including:
- 3,500 m² of foil across panels, glass, and boards.
- Over 130 flags and beach flags
- 150 pylons welcoming and guiding guests.
- Around 170 banners
Keeping control of complexity:
To stay on top of a project of this scale, we used our digital platform, Brandpilot. Every element was tracked in the system, giving both our team and the EuroSkills organizers a clear overview in real time, including what had already been completed, what was in progress, and what was next in line.
A united effort:
Four dedicated installation teams worked 12-hour shifts to make sure every detail was in place on time. It was a race against the clock, but also a reminder of what teamwork and planning can achieve.
When the doors opened, MCH Arena was transformed. The space supported EuroSkills’ identity and gave thousands of visitors an inspiring environment to experience the competitions.

Nonbye has been the ideal partner for understanding the complexity of this event – and for being able to act on it, execute it, and carry it all the way through to the finish line. Even though, at times, it’s been a bit of a chaotic project with very short reaction times, it has still been good.
When Nonbye came onboard with Brandpilot, everything was moved into that tool. It’s a platform that lets you keep track of all your ideas without having to remember everything yourself. That’s a huge relief when you’re juggling so many other tasks while trying to maintain overview.

Communications Consultant, EuroSkills 2025

A project like EuroSkills is a completely different scale than what we normally face. We had hundreds of elements, tight deadlines, and four installation teams working around the clock. Everything had to come together perfectly, with no room for delays or errors.
For an event of this scale, having a complete overview was crucial. With Brandpilot, we always knew what was ready, which graphics went where, and how each element would fit into the halls. It gave us peace of mind and ensured that both we and the client had the same picture of the project status all the way through.
